Personality
Koume, or as most call her Momma Koume, is a gentle and understanding beast. Her pupiless eyes are said to be able to see the future, small premonitions and feelings often coming to her. The older Felvarg is a witch of sorts, she practices some lower level healing magic and specializes in treating sick and deformed puppies. Often she is their only hope, Felvarg's flocking from all over to give their puppies one last shot at life. She lives deep within the cave systems that twist below the island, but often comes out to stock up on herbs and assist where she is needed. Kou helps anyone who needs it, from a simple toothache to performing larger healing practices. Not many know her tale of why she had devoted her life to the young ones, but a few of the older Felvargs know her well. She had had a mate in her younger days, and try as they may, they weren't able to have puppies. The litters that she did birth came out stillborn or highly deformed, not making it more than a few days. It tore her apart and drove her mad, her broken heart not able to take any more losses. This is when she turned her life around, casting out everyone she knew to focus on learning her arts. Although she focuses mainly on healing herbs, Koume is skilled more sinister herbal magic as well. If the need arises, she knows how to cause pain and misery. She's not the best Felvarg to tick off, she's been known to hunt down parents who harm or neglect their children. Kou has placed a few hexes in her days, a cheeky look in her eyes as she recalls them. Not liking to use this skill much, she only turns to it when the time calls for desperate measures. She is a fiercely loyal and over-protective Felvarg, not one to take crap from anyone. Her knowledge seems endless, the female seems to know everything about everything. Momma Kou is very much a motherly figure, her gentle and large heart touching many lives on Ulfrheim.
