Nannulf is most often found in the largest library in Ulfrheim, working under the watchful eye of Mani Mani 2662 himself. Indeed, Nannulf is one of very few apprentices who have been able to earn Mani Mani's respect through their studies. Painfully shy as a child, Nannulf initially found solace in the realization that he could learn about the world through books to a far greater degree than he ever would by fumbling in fits and starts through social interactions. As time went on the knowledge he amassed spoke for itself, his research catching the attention of scholars far and wide, and things became easier for him so long as he remained in an environment where it could be showcased.
