Insanely strong and savage, Starkir is the fearsome leader of the Setja clan. He believes himself and his followers superior to all others, shunning Loki and Fenrir as ‘false gods’ for their role in transforming so many people into felvargs during the battle of Ragnarok. Starkir is obsessed with finding the cure to the blood curse so that his clan can return to their true form. Some are disturbed by his methods -- sorcery and dark magics in particular -- but his power cannot be denied. His following has grown year after year, and many say he is the only one willing to do what must be done to right the wrongs committed all those years ago.
