Rag always tries to be brave in difficult situations, but his innate need for self preservation sometimes betrays the self-confident act he tries to put on. He portrays himself as brave and confident to hide his insecurities and fear of failure, but his seeming arrogance is merely an act. He will always do anything in his power to do what he feels is right, however, and no temporary cowardice he might feel at the time will change his mind. He can be clumsy, and get flustered in situations that are new to him, but he will never admit to such flaws.
