The first thing others will notice about Bartholomew when they first meet him is that he carries a great weight on both his heart and his soul. He is not the sort of Felvarg that outgoing and social Felvargs find the easiest to interact with. Barthy struggles with group interaction, tending to fall into the background by choice where he is not the center of attention. Bartholomew has a natural uncertainty about others at first that is accompanied by a fear of being hurt. It causes him to tremble and grow quiet, going so far as even shutting down mentally when others start arguing or when danger arises. Bartholomew hates conflict, and it stresses him out. He hates seeing others in pain regardless of whether it's physical, mental, or emotional, especially if it is someone he knows or is close to.

That is why Bartholomew has decided to walk the path of a healer. Extremely knowledgeable about the various herbs and flowers located across the island of Ulfrheim, he is a natural at creating remedies and tending to injuries. With a practiced paw and experience under his belt, he is able to keep calm while working on a patient. Barthy can be firm when administering treatment as well, insisting that he knows what is needed to cure an ailment or tend to a wound. It is during these moments that the confidence he once had comes out shines. Outside of healing he has a naturally sweet demeanor and is kind to any creature so long as they do not mean him or his loved ones harmed. He is open minded as well, accepting others from all walks of life. So long as they choose lives of peace instead of war and chaos then he will happily get along with them!

While Barthy is not one to do well in a crowd, he tends to excel in small groups on one on one interactions. His gentle and kind nature makes him an excellent listener, and being open-minded allows him to give opinions or advice that is not one sided. He is a pretty knowledgeable Fel and adores expanding on that knowledge by reading any book he can get his paws on or by hearing stories from others. He is a natural at processing information, tending to be analytical, and he can learn things quicker than most. He also gets very attached to the Felvargs that he calls friends, even going so far to be called clingy, but he would do anything in the world he could for them. They are his everything, so he happily gives them his all, putting everyone else before himself.

History

The prince and heir of a former pack with a kingdom-like hierarchy. Neglected by his father, Bartholomew become the target of the Captain of the guard who wanted to steal his father's position for himself. After some time of torment in silence, Barthy meets William who begins to help and protect him. He grows closer to the other male and, without realizing it, begins to leave his sister out of things. He is unaware of her jealousy and hurt as he and William try to live their lives.

After returning to the pack one evening after collecting herbs, Bartholomew and Prism hear sounds of infighting and chaos. William goes to check on things and leaves Barthy alone. After some time of waiting he sees Prism fleeing from the packlands and calls to her but she doesn't stop. When William doesn't return he leaves, unsure of what to do.

Bartholomew meets a pair of siblings named Raven and Crow who help him. Some time later, while Bartholomew is in Sandfell with them, there is an attack by the Dragons of Yggdrasil and he witnesses his sister kill another felvarg. Horrified, Barthy gets swept up into joining the Hunters as a healer. He later reunites with William, who watches over him as a medic for the hunters and secures them a place away from the main group to live safely in the village of Skalaness.

It doesn't take long for Bartholomew to accidentally expand their family, having an unfortunate knack for finding runes of creation. Now with five children and living with William, Bartholomew is hesitant to leave their quiet life to go back and assist the Hunters and risk everything he has gained.
