History

Found as a pup in the middle of one of the most bitter snowstorms in history, Amarante has never known where she truly came from. Raised by her stern adopted father, Kraven, she grew up in relative solitude while being told to expect nothing but the worst in other creatures. When she was old enough to set out on her own, however, Amarante made it her goal to make meaningful connections, find community, and seeks her true place in the world.

Amarante's adopted father and the fel who raised her. He was always gruff and distant, but she recognizes that he cares for her in his own way. While they are not overly close in her adult years, she does make a point to visit him on rare occasions.

Her adoptive "mother" -- if anyone could call her that. Nemain never accepted Amarante as her own, but being Kraven's mate, was there while she grew up. While Amarante has few kind things to say about Nemain, she will not deny the hunting skills and world knowledge she has gained from her.
