Hyrokin resides in the Shrine of Ragnarok, often patrolling the gravesites that are sprinkled throughout the forest. He is a solitary Felvarg with very little patience for the living. Having a deep connection to the warrior's spirits that linger within the forest, he bears the self-responsibility of protecting the spirits from those who wish to do harm or disrespect. Hyrokin's time with the spirits has greatly left him jaded towards the living, viewing them as fleeting bothersome pests that are not to be trusted. As such, he often harbors resentment towards those who disturb the peace and will often drive them away.

Hyrokin is inherently magical, using his magic primarily for his own benefit to further his own goals. While he would never use his magic to bring about misfortune to others, he does not use his magic to save others or fight for some higher cause that does not align with his interest.

Nightfall's attention settles upon the charms rattling across Hyrokin's back, recognition flickering across her expression. “A witchdoctor asking my spirits about dark magic?” A low, amused hum escapes her. “How refreshingly cautious.” Her claws gather the deck. “Very well, Hyrokin. Let us see whether the dead are as troubled by what has awakened as the living seem determined to be.”

She draws.

“New? Mm. The dead have considerably longer memories than you do.”
The Great Hollow Maw speaks of hidden knowledge, intuition, and truths that exist whether or not the living understand them. The magic Hyrokin senses should not be dismissed, but neither should unfamiliarity be mistaken for evil. Something once buried has resurfaced, and understanding what it is may prove considerably more important than fearing what it could become.
