Einar is a young and generally well-mannered individual, though those around him may find themselves either frustrated or annoyed at his behaviour. He is prone to riddles and long-winded, almost rambling stories that sometimes (but not always) pertain to the task at hand and are rarely stories of his own; rather, he considers himself a collector of stories and songs that he then records in one way or another. He'll often tell a story of his own in exchange for something, though the payment for such things is almost always bones or particularly strangely shaped sticks.
He travels by whims that he doesn't necessarily share, following a code that certainly exists, even if no one has quite figured it out. He prefers to keep his true feelings and ideals to himself, hidden behind nonsensical ramblings or misdirection; while Einar will never lie, he will avoid the truth as long as he can. When he's not dancing around the truth, he's a genuinely playful pup who seems always able to make a game of what he's doing or find the silver lining in his misfortunes. Often, this will lead to him playing games with those willing to engage, and while it may take longer to fulfil the work, Einar will claim that it makes the time go by like a river in the woods.
