Odalys is a very reserved individual. Due to past trauma, she has a hard time connecting with others emotionally. That said, her moods are rather unpredictable, and she can be quite stubborn if she believes she is in the right. She is vengeful, driven, and a force to be reckoned with.

As a leader, she won’t hesitate to make choices that could result in sacrificing a few members in order to save hundreds more. She knows this isn’t always the best option, and so will look to her fellow alphas if to help balance out her oftentimes cold decisions.

While she will take time to speak with members of the pack, she may seem a bit disconnected and aloof. However, her closest comrades know that she remembers the name of every felvarg she’s been introduced to, and she remembers the names of every single pack member she’s lost.

She carries with her a heavy weight, one that she refuses to share with anyone as she believes that it is hers alone to bear. She holds herself apart from the world, believing she doesn't deserve happiness. Even with that belief though, she fights for the happiness of the world, and wont stop until she eradicates the one she sees as its largest threat.

Sworn Enemy

Once she considered him a friend. Once she might have wanted that friendship to be something more. That was before she found out what sort of felvarg he really is.

Azeem wanted her to stand at his side as he sought to create his empire and become a god. He saw her potential, and he wanted it for himself.

Odalys refused, seeing his ruthless nature unveiled. Horrified, she parted ways with him. She knew he could have killed her. He should have killed her after revealing his plans to her. Yet he didn't, and his lack of attempts on her life bothered her greatly. Eventually she found out why he'd chosen to let her go. Unfortunately for him, his plans for her failed yet again.

Jian #7888

Colleague

Odalys met Jian shortly after deciding that she needed to create a pack of her own to combat Azeem's followers.

Jian had already gathered a small group to fight against the Goldbloods. Odalys was impressed by his leadership skills and his pure heart. Not only that, but he was already aware of the threat at hand and had taken it upon himself to stand up to the enemy.

It wasn't long after that that she approached him with her own small group. Together they founded the Vada, and the pack only grew larger and stronger from there.

Meraud #8174

It wasn't until recently that Odalys raised Meraud to the position of head of Intelligence within the pack. It was a decision she never thought she would make, but fate seemed to have placed him in her path at the right place at the right time.

She'd first spoken to Meraud only through messages relayed by intel agents within the Goldblood organization. Meraud was working for the enemy as an inquisitor, but had chosen to spare one of her spies rather than kill or report them. In him she saw a great opportunity, but also a great risk.

She'd offered him the choice to work for the Vada as a spy, knowing that he would have a much greater chance at climbing to the uppermost ranks compared to anyone she could get into the organization. Alternatively, she could arrange for some Vada fels to get him out of the Goldbloods, asking only that he join them and give them any information he could on the Inquisitors and the inter-workings of their faction. However, she knew what she was asking of him by posing this choice. He was already a very broken and haunted individual. Staying with the enemy could crush him beyond repair if he wasn't careful. Even so, it had to be done, and Meraud apparently agreed, as he chose to stay and help them rather than running from the good he could do.

Kol #7962

Odalys met Kol while investigating the Blight on Ulfrheim. They parted ways for a time, each choosing different paths until Odalys's merged once more with his.

In a way, Kol served as a sort of catalyst for her. He was the first felvarg in a long time that she dared call comrade or even friend. After their brief time fighting the blight and eventually succeeding against it, Odalys finally decided that she needed to do something about the other threat she knew was coming.

After the blight was gone, the two of them parted ways. Odalys sometimes wondered what happened to the brindled titan, and had even hoped at times that she would run into him during her recruitment excursions. She never did.

Years later she found out why. Kol had been taken by the Goldbloods, and in a twist of fate, he'd happened to be at the Goldblood base that the Vada had launched an assault on. This brought Kol his freedom, and he chose to join the Vada to help continue the fight.
