It is with tender and warm goodbyes does Valdis send weary souls off into the afterlife. She dutifully leads the hearse carriage for followers of Nightfall; because of that she has become known as Cadaver’s Crossing. Some claim that she is a bringer of death, but Valdis is nothing but a guide for those that have passed over. Because she works so closely with those that have died, Valdis sometimes struggles to understand the living.
