One might be surprised at how one such as Brisara ended up under Nightfall’s influence. The truth is that her parents were threatened with eternal servitude and it was only by Brisara’s offer of her own life that she could save them. She’s a powerful magic-weaver, particularly skilled with plants, and thus she became known as The Midnight Rose. Quietly, she still worships Hymn and tries to follow a path of spiritual openness, but she must keep her traitorous thoughts under wraps, lest she (or worse, her parents) be killed for her disloyalty.
