Drakan is very reserved when it comes to expressing his emotions. Some may believe he feels nothing at all, but they would be mistaken. While he initially comes off as uncaring, there are a few select individuals that he will open up to. He is more often than not silent and will only speak when absolutely necessary, as he believes that actions speak more than words. His loyalty must be earned and it\'s not going to be an easy feat. Drakan is very cautious when it comes to others, having been betrayed by his own flesh and blood. Once he\'s been won over he will not hesitate to lay his life on the line for his allies. He was born within the mountains during Winter, as a result he is pretty adaptable when it comes to any type of change- environmental or situational.
History
Drakan initially comes off as a quiet individual with a lack of emotion, but he wasn't always this way. As a pup, he found himself abandoned by not only his father, but also his uncle the Alpha shortly after the Alpha's mate lost her battle to illness. Despite his mother's best efforts to raise not only her own pups, but also the alpha female's orphaned children, many lives would be lost. Drakan began to withdraw himself and wandered the outskirts of the territory, expanding more and more as his birth pack slowly fell apart from disease and lack of leadership. Darkness rooted itself within the growing child as he watched his litter mates and adopted siblings succumb to death that could have easily been avoided had the males not departed. He could never bring himself to leave the territory for too long though, always finding himself drawn back to his small family's side.

During adolescence, Drakan had a fated encounter with an older, battle-worn male. This aged male quickly became Drakan's new idol and would tell him of ancient war stories and his experiences on the battle field. Within no time at all, he was accepted in as a squire and introduced to the male's battalion. A massive male, the Chief's right-hand, would train the boy in the ways of defending himself while the Chief himself would teach him how to hunt large prey on his own. One eventful day, during a hunt, the trio encountered a large bear. Young Drakan did his best to distract the larger predator, but it resulted in loss of his tail. The two other males worked fast to take down the bear and once it was dispatched, the Chief carried Drakan back to their camp so that their healer could tend to his wounds. Drakan slept through many days before he was able to get back onto his feet. While he recovered, away from his mother and sister, an unexpected guest would make an appearance back home...

After recovering well enough from his encounter with the bear, Drakan conversed with the Chief and was warmly invited into the battalion in result to his bravery in the fight with the bear, if he so desired. Noticing Drakan's worry for his family back in the distant lands, the Chieftain also extended his invitation to them as well. It was then that he made his journey back home to share the news. However, upon arrival he was met with an unsightly scene. His father, had returned with two new females to reclaim his original mate and take claim over the fallen pack with his three lovers by his side. Venomous words were shared between father and son, and despite his pleading with his mother to join him in the battalion- she declined. Blinded by the love of her mate, she overlooked his infidelity and scorned her son for acting out against his father. Filled with mixed emotions of disbelief and rage, something within Drakan snapped and he found himself turning on his own flesh and blood.

Within moments he was on top of his mother, his fangs buried deep into her throat. She succumbed to death easily, just before he found himself in a battle of life or death with his father. The fight seemed to go on for an eternity, but due to his time and training with the battalion, Drakan was able to get the upper hand on him. Unlike his mother, his father bled out slowly and suffered through every minute until his final breath. The two females that accompanied his father were nowhere to be seen, having possibly taken off when the fighting began. The only remaining soul left was Drakan's sister. She stood there in disbelief that her brother, who helped in providing for them, had just murdered their mother. Without a word, she turned tail and disappeared into the forest. He hasn't seen her since then.

Drakan returned to the Warchief's side, taking oath to never speak of what happened that day to anyone. Over time he grew more distant and cold, the only thing he knew was the loyalty to his war chief and fellow warriors. A little over a year after being with the battalion, he found himself separated from the group when an avalanche hit. While he was unable to find any survivors of his group, he did find unwanted company of an adolescent female... After digging her out of the snow, he found himself in a unusual predicament. Not only had he saved a soul from dying, but now he had a stalker. Drakan found himself followed during his travels by this psychotic female, who had become possessive over her savior. The companionship was volatile and the two would often physically fight. She even took claim of Drakan's ears, as it was her favorite part to go after, resulting in him being left with just tufts of fur where his ears once stood. Despite it all, he was understanding that she had her demons as did he. However, like everything else in his life, it didn't last. One day she just stopped following him, and Drakan continued on his way.
